Shake what your Mama gave ya !!

Here is my challenge of the day : Take advantage of being in the house alone…or lock yourself in a room with a stereo.

Pick a song that you can hardly resist dancing to, crank up the volume, and get down with your bad self ! Forget feeling silly. Forget that you don’t dance well. Dance. Dance hard, and smile while you are doing it !  Use every second of the song to shake your groove thing!!!

You will be surprised at : 1.) How fast your heart is racing. 2.) How much fun you just had,  &  3.) How you can’t wait to do it tomorrow.

Today I am picking “Love Shack”… yesterday was “My Sherona ! “      My, my, my, my, my…wooo !!!

Skip the diet pills : Low Carb

I have tried them all. Pills that promise to reduce your hunger. Pills that boost your energy. Pills to reduce your cravings, and so on and so on. I can’t stand the way they make you feel after a while. Spacy, disjointed, agitated… You know what I have discovered ?? About 4 days into a high-protein, low-carb diet you get these same promised effects without feeling strung-out.

My meal size has shrunk, because I am just not that hungry. I do not crave foods, or watch the clock for my next meal -honestly, I am surprised to look at the clock and realize that “lunch-time” was 2 hours ago. My energy level, focus, and motivation is as high as it has ever been. The only craving I am experiencing is for activity- I don’t want to sit still. 

The body is an amazing thing. When you cut out products that slow your metabolism and fat burning abilities, your body celebrates !!  It cooperates with your efforts  !!
